Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry at Ridgecrest is the foundation for all the ministries, activities and mission projects at our church.  At Ridgecrest prayer is not an option but rather an essential part of daily living. We encourage Christians to seek the Lord in prayer since we believe that the main way to grow spiritually is by practicing a daily prayer time with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our weekly prayer times offer opportunities for people to pray—as individuals or in small groups—and to engage in a purposeful life of prayer.

Prayer Opportunities at Ridgecrest:

• Sundays, 7:00-7:45 a.m.  Men’s Prayer Time led by Bro. Joe.  Meets in the Ridgecrest Activities Center.
  
  
• Sundays, 8:30 a.m.  Prayer walking through the worship center
  
  
• 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 6:30-7:15 a.m. Pastor’s Prayer Partners in worship center.  Focus of prayer is for spiritual health of the church and the Spirit’s leadership of our ministers, especially our Senior Pastor.  Led by Bro. Phil
  
  
• Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m.  Prayer for the sick, our mission partners, servicemen and other ministries
  
  
• Prayer room is available 24 hours a day.  Please check the sign on the door to make sure that someone is not already praying in the room.  To reserve the prayer room for a special prayer time, please contact Vicky Boone at vboone rcbc.org or 601-853-1090 #25.
