Stacy Andrews grew up in New Albany, Mississippi but considers the Jackson Metro area home, living here since 1989.
Family
Stacy has been married to his college sweetheart for 18 years, Stacy Lea Andrews of Clinton, MS … yes, they have the same first & last name. Stacy & Stacy Lea have three children: Parker (15), Rosie (11) and Jackson (4).
Favorite Bible Verse
His favorite Bible Verse is Acts 17:27: “God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.” Stacy thinks this verse gives great insight into God’s desire to reach each one of us exactly where we are, no matter how “far” away from God we think we may be.
Service at RidgeCrest
Stacy was on staff at Ridgecrest as our College & Young Adult Minister from 1999-2004 before leaving to do church planting. In 2011, he returned to Ridgecrest to serve as our “Connections Pastor” where he gives leadership to 3 areas of our church: 1) Small Groups, 2) New People, & 3) Unreached People.
Hobbies and Interests
Stacy loves reading books, and specifically enjoys anything by Flannery O’Connor or William Faulkner. He likes listening to great music, such as the Avett Brothers, Mumford & Sons, Ray LaMontangne and the Decemberists. He also practices martial arts & Jui Jitsu wrestling with his whole family several times a week. His favorite pastime, however, is eating at new or out-of-way places with his wife.
